Correct use and necessary maintenance of the machine, keeping the oil clean, can effectively prevent the failure of the oil pump and the machine, extend the service life of each component of the machine, improve the production efficiency of the machine, and create greater economic benefits.
1. Precautions for using flat plate vulcanizing machine
1) The mold should be placed in the middle of the hot plate as much as possible.
2) Before each shift of production, all parts of the machine, such as pressure gauges, electronic control buttons, hydraulic parts, etc., should be inspected. If any abnormal sound is found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection, and the fault can be eliminated before continued use.
3) Check regularly whether the fixing bolts of the upper hot plate and the upper beam are loose. If looseness is found, tighten immediately to prevent the screws from being damaged due to pressure during vulcanization.
2. Maintenance of flat plate vulcanizing machine
1) The working oil should be kept clean and no stolen goods should be present. After the machine has been running for 1-4 months, the working oil should be extracted, filtered and reused. The oil should be replaced twice a year. The inside of the oil tank should be cleaned at the same time.
2) When the machine is out of use for a long period of time, all the working oil should be pumped out, the oil tank should be cleaned, and anti-rust oil should be added to the moving contact surfaces of each machine part to prevent rust.
3) The fastening bolts, screws and nuts of each part of the machine should be checked regularly to prevent loosening and causing undue damage to the machine.
4) After the cylinder sealing ring is used for a period of time, the sealing performance will gradually decrease and oil leakage will increase, so it must be checked or replaced frequently.
5) There is a filter at the bottom of the tank. Frequently filter the hydraulic oil at the bottom of the tank to keep the oil clean. Otherwise, impurities in the hydraulic oil will jam the hydraulic components or even damage them, causing greater losses. There are often impurities attached to the surface of the filter and must be cleaned. If it is not cleaned for a long time, the filter will become clogged and cannot be used.
6) Check the motor regularly and replace the grease in the bearings. If the motor is damaged, replace it in time.
7) Regularly check whether the connection of each electrical component is firm and reliable. The electrical control cabinet should be kept clean. If the contacts of each contactor are worn, they must be replaced. Do not use lubricating oil to lubricate the contacts. If there are copper particles or black spots on the contacts, , must be polished with a fine scraper or emery cloth.
3. Common faults and troubleshooting methods of flat plate vulcanizing machines
A common failure of the flat plate vulcanizing machine is the loss of closed mold pressure. When this happens, first check whether the sealing ring is damaged, and then check whether there is oil leakage at the connection between both ends of the oil inlet pipe. If the above situation does not occur, the outlet check valve of the oil pump should be checked.
When repairing, the pressure should be relieved and the plunger lowered to the lowest position.
